I work in marketing at Bytes. Here's a video idea I want to film: [your idea]. It's for the [campaign] campaign with [vendor]. Give me 10 more creative versions that would get the attention of a CISO or IT leader on LinkedIn. Keep each one doable in a single filming day at our office.

Webinar standards

We're trying to move away from webinars that are just two people having a conversation, or one person talking over slides. We want sessions that feel more visual and hands-on, so people stay with us for the whole thing.

Targets to aim for
  • 57 to 60% of registrants attending.
  • Around 50 minutes average engagement time, where the session length supports it.
  • Track chat, questions, polls, downloads and CTA clicks, not just attendance.
Hosting
  • Open the session, welcome attendees and explain why they've been invited.
  • State the objective and what they'll take away.
  • Run through the order of speakers and when questions come in.
  • Introduce each speaker with a short line on their role.
  • Invite questions throughout.
  • Close with thanks, next steps and what follow-up to expect.
Slides
  • Proofread everything: names, job titles, company names and dates.
  • One message per slide, large fonts, strong contrast. It should read on a phone.
  • Opening slide with the title, date, start time and Bytes branding.
Tech setup
  • Start recording early so early joiners see a settled room.
  • Check audio, camera, screen share and slides before opening the room.
  • Have the opening slide up before the start time.
  • Make sure presenters know when they're live and when they're on.
  • Agree how questions will be handled: chat, Q&A or live.
On camera
  • Head and shoulders in frame, eyes level with the camera.
  • Light from the front. No strong shadows or bright windows behind you.
  • Look into the camera and smile.
  • Dress for the audience. Avoid busy patterns or very casual clothes.
  • Virtual backgrounds: clean Bytes-branded or neutral only.
Pre-recorded and after the event
  • Plan it like a live event: objective, running order, approved slides and a CTA.
  • With a crew, agree the brief first: shots, framing, sound, branding, intro and outro.
  • Without a crew, use a proper mic, not laptop audio, and record a test first.
  • Edit out hesitations and long pauses. Add captions.
  • Export the MP4 from ON24, add the Bytes intro and outro, then upload to Vimeo and YouTube.
  • Check names, visuals, audio and the CTA before publishing.
  • For simulated live, the host still joins to welcome people and answer questions.

How creative is this idea?

This is just to help us see the mix. Not every video needs to be highly creative, and plenty of good content is straightforward.
